Seven nights. Five big days on the mountain. 18 confident skiers taking on 300km+ of Arlberg terrain from our epic ski-in, ski-out chalet. Think big runs, slopeside apres and serious recovery. Ski hard. Recover well. Go again.
About
Our first-ever Ski Escape takes us high into the Austrian Alps to Oberlech. Over seven nights, we'll ski straight from our next-level chalet into the heart of the Arlberg, heading out in smaller ski pods, taking on the White Ring together and squeezing every last run out of five days on the mountain. Off the skis, things are just as good: sunset apres at Balmalp, night sledging, hot-and-cold recovery, a two-Michelin-starred Chef's Table reservation and an afternoon at the Arlberg Spa. Plus 17 new ski mates to do it all with, from first lifts to last drinks. This is Salt Escapes at altitude.

Your Week

Welcome to Oberlech. Sitting 1,750m above sea level, this tiny car-free village is surrounded by towering snowy peaks, epic ski runs and some of the best terrain in Austria. Settle into the chalet, meet your crew over welcome drinks and get to know each other around the table during your first private-chef dinner. Skis ready. Early-ish night. Tomorrow, we're straight into it.

Wake up in the mountains, fuel up over breakfast and step straight from the chalet onto the slopes. No buses. No trudging around in ski boots. Clip in and go. We'll split into smaller ski pods and spend the day getting to know the Arlberg, with 300km+ of interconnected terrain to play with and lunch somewhere on the mountain along the way. Then comes the reward. Ski home, ditch the boots and head straight for the sauna and ice baths, before stretching out with yoga and settling in for dinner with the crew.
The Villa
A luxury 10-bedroom chalet high above Lech, with panoramic mountain views and the slopes right outside your door. Inside, you'll find modern Alpine rooms, a huge living space with an open fire, sun terrace and plenty of room for the whole crew to hang out. Downstairs, the sauna, infrared cabin and cold-water Kneipp pool are waiting for tired legs. Ski out in the morning. Recover hard. Do it all again tomorrow.

Breakfast. Boots on. Back out there. We'll split into our ski pods again and head deeper into the Arlberg for another big day on the mountain. Find your favourite runs, chase the good snow and refuel somewhere slopeside before skiing all the way home. Then: sauna. Ice. Yoga. Dinner. Think you're done? Not quite. Once darkness falls, we're swapping skis for sledges and heading back onto the mountain for some racing action. Friendly competition always welcome.

This is the big one. Today, all 18 of us ski together to take on the legendary White Ring, one of the Alps' most iconic ski circuits, linking Lech, Zurs, Zug and Oberlech through the mountains. To finish, we'll ski straight into Balmalp, high above Lech, kick off the skis and claim our spot on the terrace. DJs. Bubbles. Ridiculously good mountain views. Now this is apres.

You've put in some serious kilometres, so this morning, you call it. Head back out for an independent ski. Take things up a gear with optional heliskiing. Swap skis for an alpaca hike. Or do absolutely nothing for a few hours. Later, we'll swap downhill for cross-country skis and head out across the snow for a new challenge and, potentially, a few new ways to fall over. Tonight, we've secured a table at Rote Wand's Chef's Table, hidden inside an old Zug schoolhouse dating back to 1780. Chef Julian Stieger and his team will take us through 16-19 courses of creative, two-Michelin-starred cooking.

It's the last day and we're not wasting it. Breakfast, boots, skis, then straight out for one final pod session across the Arlberg. Then, finally, we give the legs what they've been asking for all week. We're heading to the 1,000m2 Arlberg Spa for an afternoon of indoor and outdoor pools, Finnish sauna, steam rooms and hydrotherapy. Then it's back to the chalet for yoga and one final dinner with your crew. Image ©Hotel Arlberg

No ski boots this morning. Just one final yoga session, breakfast with the crew and a last look at the mountains before it's time to check out. Five days of skiing. The White Ring. Balmalp apres. Michelin-starred dining. And 17 new mates you'll want to do it all over again with. Same time next year?
